Yesteryear Collection



The Battle of Château-Thierry was fought on 31 May 1918 and was one of the first actions of the American Expeditionary Forces under General John J. Pershing. It was a battle in World War I as part of the Second Battle of the Marne, initially prompted by a German Spring Offensive.

Description: Greyish-blue body & chassis; tan cab tilt; tan rear canopy; black radiator grille; silver headlamp lenses; dull dark red seats; greyish-blue plated parts; greyish-blue 12 spoke wheels; 94 in white on right front mudguard, left cab door and left of rear loadbed; RAF in white on bonnet; RAF Chateau-Thierry in white on both sides of truck body; a red cross on white circle on both sides and on top of rear canopy and centre rear of load bed.

Variations: With either a red cross on white circle or 'RAF' in white on bonnet.
With or without '94' in white on left cab door.
With either 'Chateau-Thierry and RAF' or '94 and Chateau-Thierry' in white on both sides of truck loadbed.
